you know what i like? i like it when we are able to sit down.. and eat.. and chat... and catch up. i like it when even tho we are all different people, we are still able to bond. i like it when despite all that's happening around us, we don't let the politics affect our friendship. that's why, i liked today's lunch. and that's why i'm going to hate what's going to happen year end.
it continuously amazes me that how one dept can be so cohesive, while the other is filled with politics and issues that affect everyone, making the working environment offensive and stifling. ~_~ with the recent events which have happened in the company, i really dread our move at year end.
i think it does say something about someone if she/he becomes a public enemy. and honestly it is fun to have a group of people who see the same flaws as you have seen and bitch about it together. honestly, it can be quite lonely working in your own cubicle. and it often brings entertainment and laughter when we share stories of said public enemy.
some people have asked why i'm still with this company and not moving on, why am i doing something that has no relation to my degree, am i even happy with my current job designation. the secret to keeping someone loyal to the company (besides monetary reason) is the people. be a good boss - respectful, considerate and flexible but be demanding as well. be a good colleague - respectful, considerate, helpful and kind. i love the people i work with because they are honestly hardworking, dynamic and helpful people. ^_^ that's why i would like to stay on for a good while.
